Who we are

Natural resources are under pressure due to rising consumption of goods and the growing population. The resources available are not unlimited and therefore we should use them considerably. We need to look beyond the current take-make-waste extractive industrial model, and adopt a circular economy model aiming to redefine growth, focusing on positive society-wide benefits. It entails gradually decoupling economic activity from the consumption of finite resources, and designing waste out of the system where the reduction, reuse and recycling of waste are key components.

The activities of businesses, organizations, governments and civil society in general, regardless the size, can have an impact on the natural environment by exerting pressure on natural resources. The means used to deal with these environmental impacts are multiple, including among others: environmental management systems, sustainable design techniques, cleaner production technologies, innovative applications, product life cycle monitoring, etc.

At Qgreen we are part of the solution for green sustainable development, applying the principles of circular economy.
